Slowing down for the Summer
Dear Friend,
- Like many of us you are probably ‘slowing down’ as the summer progresses. That slow down is a necessary ingredient in our life and work cycle. That having been said the work at the Markham Prayer Breakfast continues and we look forward to your support for the November 29th event.
- Summer is also a time to think about the Fall and in our case to think about our expectations for the 2019 Prayer Breakfast. We have set ourselves another lofty goal of welcoming 700 attendees this year. While it is a lofty goal, we are well on our way to achieving that, with over 300 tickets already issued.

- A little-known fact is that in Markham there are approximately 70 Christian churches actively engaged in Outreach and Ministry. At the present time only 35 are represented at the Prayer Breakfast. While this may be a time for slowing down it’s also a good time to order your table or individual ticket, to ensure that you do not miss this exciting event.
- Markham Prayer Breakfast represents the largest and probably the only multi-demoninational event of its kind. In terms of size and scope it is clearly a significant leader in both the greater Toronto area and York region.
