2024 Tickets Now Available

Dear Friend, Welcome back! 
For many congregations September represents the month for ‘welcome back’ as the unofficial church year commences, and new programs get into gear.

  •  The Markham Prayer Breakfast committee is also getting into gear…… however the Prayer Breakfast is far from a new program as this year we will celebrate 27 years of service in the area of prayer for our leaders and people of Markham
  • In August we confirmed that everything will be ready at the golf club – we are pleased to once again be holding our uplifting event at the Angus Glen Golf Club, at 10800 Kennedy Road, just north of Major Mackenzie Dr. E.
  • The committee will be meeting at the golf club in the wee small hours on November 22nd to ensure that every last detail is in place ready for your arrival around 6:45 AM ready for a 7 AM start.
  • Our speaker this year is Dr. Peter Chu, General/Trauma Surgeon and Adjunct Professor at Tyndale Seminary.  Since 1998, Peter and his family have annually served as “long term – short term” volunteers at Galmi Hospital, an SIM mission hospital in Niger.
  • Our ministry of music will be led by Jonathan Michael, who has distinguished himself as a cantor at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish.  Jonathan’s repertoire extends to classical crossover, musical theatre, pop and jazz. Jonathan’s first album entitled “The Compilation” came out in 2015.
  • If you do not have your ticket or your church does not yet have a table reserved, contact us soon.  The 2023 event was held at the same venue and we sold out – so NOW is the time to reserve your seat at the 2024 Markham Prayer Breakfast!

We encourage you to obtain your ticket securely through Interac e-Transfer. Send to email address: MarkhamPrayerBreakfast@gmail.com and include your name and contact information.  We will confirm the order and send a voucher that can be printed and/or shared with table guests advising the details and table number.  You can also acquire tickets using cheque, VISA, MasterCard or AMEX by using the form on the poster below.

Together we make things happen! Thank you for making our 26th Annual Markham Prayer breakfast another wonderful success.

We were honoured that The Right Honourable David Johnston was available to join us and share his faith journey, we were delighted how beautiful our new home Angus Glen Golf Club was and we were overjoyed that the event was sold out.

We are grateful, your attendance is a testament to the power of prayer within our Markham Community. To our generous sponsors, thank you, we could not do this without you.
We are inspired by you and look forward to 2024!

Please keep prayer in your hearts and let us continue to pray for our Community leaders who govern that they make decisions based on wisdom and equity, righteousness and peace.

Let us go into this new year with the power of God behind us together!
Greetings from the Markham Prayer Breakfast!

2022 has arrived and the year is not off to a good start as COVID variants continue to cause havoc with our daily lives.
The Markham Prayer Breakfast team however are still ‘riding high’ on a great 2021 in person Prayer Breakfast.

It was a great event, albeit somewhat scaled down form our usual gathering size. The meeting was live streamed and over 500 people were able to join in the prayer breakfast either on-line or in-person. While we cannot tell how the pandemic will work out during this year, we remain confident that we will be holding a full in-person prayer breakfast on
                              “Friday November 25th, 2022″ 
Plans are well underway for a spectacular event to recognize our                      25th Anniversary as The Markham Prayer Breakfast.   Our 25th on the 25th! Please save the date!

Our sole objective is to join all Christians together in Markham to pray for our leaders at all levels of government, commerce, and industry. We ask that you join us not only in November but throughout the year in praying for strong committed leadership.
